John brings to Geoffrey Weiss & Associates a wealth of experience needed to provide strategic leadership in the dynamic information systems and image management markets. Over the past 25 years, John has held a number of executive positions with software, image management, and medical imaging companies. This experience, combined with his drive to find the absolute best candidate, allows him to deliver proven solutions to his clients. He has a thorough understanding of the sales and marketing skill-set necessary to thrive in the dynamic converging markets of information systems and medical imaging.
Working with John, clients will receive valuable direction as a direct result of his knowledge, experience and market connections. He is highly skilled in all types of searches from retained, to exclusive and non-exclusive contingent searches, for all executive levels, CEO on down.
Prior to joining Geoffrey Weiss & Associates, John served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at AMICAS. John’s leadership not only significantly increased bookings, he also developed and executed a marketing strategy that propelled AMICAS from a non-PACS company to the third-highest ranked PACS company, according to KLAS, an independent company that rates performance of healthcare vendors.
John also held the position of President with Health Hero Network, Vice President of Sales/Vice President of Marketing with Toshiba America Medical Systems, and Regional Manager with Philips Medical Systems. Whether it was achieving sales increases, driving the company to a cash-positive position, or strategic positioning of a product line, John achieved and exceeded the goals of the company.
